Tallulah has been going to Abacus since she was 6 months old. We’ve noticed a significant difference in her since she started; she loves spending time with other children and seems to be a happier baby from the activities and stimulation that the nursery provide.
It’s so nice being able to drop her off in the morning, knowing that she’s going to be involved in fun activities for the day, and cared for so well.
With plenty of notice, Abacus offers us the flexibility that our working patterns require.
My niece also attends Abacus and loves her time there.
The healthy meals and snacks and photos onto the Facebook page are an added bonus.

“Abacus initially shone out as a fantastic nursery for us due to the bilingual element, but it is clear that this is not the only thing they do well. I was impressed how all the staff know all the children and visa versa, even when they are not in their age group. The weekly and seasonal themes ingest variation into the activities and also reflect the range of teaching given to all ages. Their ethos recognises friendships, understanding and caring for others and also caring for yourself. My children became determined to become independent at dressing themselves, feeding themselves and drinking out of a cup. The outside playing space is great, as is the inside soft play area. We even get some baked goodies come home that our children have made.
From starting in Abacus, both my children quickly found comfort and security which is very reassuring. At times, my children have hardly said goodbye to us when arriving, but disappear inside to play with their friends. Their day is so much fun! “

My son has attended Abacus Day Nursery for 7 years, attending 3 days a week. Since the first day of attending, the staff have always shown a professional, caring, kind and positive attitude. We are always greeted with a smile!
Abacus Day Nursery carries out a wide range of activities with the children on a daily basis. Since attending Abacus Day Nursery, my son’s social skills and confidence have increased. He has made many friends and his learning has grown in a safe, secure and fun environment. Abacus Day Nursery has made a huge contribution to my son’s development in the time he has been there. It is advantageous that Abacus Day Nursery is a bilingual nursery, and in this respect they have greatly helped my son improve with learning the Welsh language.
The staff form a close relationship with the children, understanding their likes and dislikes.
